REMIX

My iPod is gifted--it does it's own remix.  It just played Born This Way (Lady Gaga) and followed it up with Express Yourself (Madonna). That's a girl...

Coolest. Thing. Ever.

Got my Moshi Moshi in the mail today! What's a Moshi Moshi, you may ask? See picture: It's an old fashioned receiver that you can plug into your Blackberry, iPhone, iPad or computer and cut down almost 95% on the radiation that comes from cell phone usage. In my business I'm on the phone alot and as the phone heats up during the call I can't help but thinking what that heat is radiating into my brain (just for the record, it is not radiating the lotto 6/49 numbers, nor any stock market tips)  So now, I don't have to worry! This little baby makes FaceTime clearer, can be used on Skype and so far it's been great on my Blackberry.  There is one little problem though...how am I going to fit it into my purse?!   Either I can steal ideas from Lenny Kravitz et al, or I'll just have to buy that ginormous Michael Kors that I have my eye on.  I think that Louis Vuitton might suffice also... Oh yeah, me and the celebs have a CONNECTION now (pun intended!!)

So maybe I DO have a little bit of Martha in me....

I'm so excited! We acquired this little bistro set a couple of years ago and I absolutely loved it but lately it's been looking old, tired and dated so I went to Home Depot, grabbed myself a couple of cans of espresso satin finish spray paint and voila, infused new life into my little bistro. We also had a bench downstairs that hubby built over 20 years ago--inside our one bedroom apartment--that has just been taking up space so I moved it outside, put some pillows on it and tried to make a conversation area. I am very happy with the results. In fact, this morning I sat outside on my bench, drank my morning shake and listened to my scriptures...in the SUNSHINE...and it was glorious. Amazing what a little creativity, a couple of cans of paint, and some knick knacks can do! Come on over anytime and enjoy my little piece of heaven with me! Yucky. Boring. Cold. Sterile. Inviting.  Warm. Friendly. Almost perfect.  Need the bench to be a different color.

Flash Tape--A little flash of AMAZING

Are you tired of constantly tugging at your clothes to make sure your bra strap isn't hanging out?  Tired of constantly pulling your shirt up to prevent your girls from making their debut?  Tired of that gaping hole right in the 'busty' area of your blouse?  If so, let me tell you about my little flash of amazing--it's called FLASH TAPE and it is a life saver!! I am a very particular girl--I don't like my underwear showing, don't like my shirt to pull up when I bend over, don't like to worry about anything being seen that isn't supposed to be seen, so this product has been so amazing for me.  How did I discover it, you might ask?  Well, I stole it from my kids!  Kiki had some very long socks that she wore for her jazz solo and she used this tape to hold them up so they didn't fall down in the middle of a jete or a baryshnikov (doesn't my command of the 'dance' language impress you?!), and the surprising thing is that it totally worked

I'm BACK!!

Howdy peeps, I'm back!! My brain hasn't been thinking in 'blogging mode' for a long time so you are going to have to cut me a bit of slack here until things get rolling like they used to (if, in fact, that can ever happen again). Life has been filled with many challenges for me in the last year. Suffice it to say that God and I weren't speaking for a while and that lead me on all kinds of paths.  Paths of research, paths of discovery, paths of rebellion, paths of questioning, paths of depression...many, many paths.  One of these paths lead to me getting my nose pierced, as well as having two sessions with a naturopath that can only be described as a witch doctor.   Through all this exploring I came to know that the 'truths' I have held dear my whole life were indeed 'truths' and were what answered all my questions about life, and is a perfect example of how I want to live my life.  Durring my trial, one of the things I found that really helped me
