Y'know...blogging is hard!

It's not like having a conversation where your thoughts are stimulated by a certain subject, or you find something funny and giggle about it for an hour.

It's all you.

Alone.

Trying to think of something to write to keep your blog 'current.'

Well, people....I got nothing for ya. Nothin' new. Just the same old, same old.

I'm still packing lunches, ironing clothes (yep...can you believe it!), shopping for food, making supper and sleeping.

Oh...and shopping!

Got some dang good deals too! Like a pair of $565.00 Louis Vuitton shoes for $9.00! Yes! Seriously! A leather Mexx purse for $8.00 and a pair of Adrienne Vittadini shoes (leopard print) for $8.00. All in pristine condition; never been used!

I guess I can hold a one sided conversation...

as long as it's about shopping!

I'm off to the store...toodles.

i use Ty's account from his Humanities Class. His teacher has a blog that they have to answer questions on.

The earth stood still today. No, it wasn't because the planets were aligned. Well if this doesn't completely rock your socks then I don't know what will: Taylor Lautner AND Tom Cruise staring in a movie.. together l  And it's about airplanes!   It's TOP GUN all over again people!  I'm just too excited for words. Now, yes, I admit, Tom did crash and burn in my books after the couch incident on Oprah; and after marrying Katie whats-her-name, but all in all, I still like him.  As long as he doesn't open his mouth except to speak his lines in a movie. And Taylor Lautner.  I know, right?  What a beauty!  I don't have a crush or anything on him (puhlease, I could be his MOTHER!) but my eyes do appreciate the view when he's on the screen.  Yes, my eyes, and ONLY my eyes.  Now, as far as crushes go, you need to talk to my daughter.   Taylor adorns practically every inch of her bedroom walls. Happy 20th Anniversary to Us!!

Yeah, so the old man and I have been hitched for 20 years today.  Been together for 30 years (yes, we started dating when we were BABIES!) and yes, I have been with him for more than 1/2 of my life.  That's pretty crazy when you think of it...he's been there for EVERY major milestone of my life, and I for his.  It's pretty hard for either of us to pull a 'remember when' memory from a period of our lives in which the other person wasn't present.  Oh sure we went off and did things separately, like I lifeguarded for 2 summers in a little town in the Interior, and he lived in the Okanagan for about a year, and he climbed mountains with friends and did hikes that I wasn't part of,  but we were still a couple.   We started dating when I was 14 and he was 17--I had to get special permission from my parents to date him because I wasn't allowed until I was 16.  I remember the discussion quite vividly and my parents agreed to allow him to come over, and to take
